About Janie

I have extensive experience working on behalf of accused individuals wrongfully charged with a criminal offense. My role in these investigations was to explore the credibility of the crown witnesses and the complainant by conducting a more extensive investigation further to the police investigation.

In 1993, I assisted James Driskell in a ten-year wrongful murder conviction investigation. The evidence that I gathered during the course of this investigation aided in his release from prison. This evidence was tendered and acknowledged at the subsequent inquiry held in Winnipeg, Manitoba before the Honourable Patrick LeSage, the former Chief Justice of Ontario.

In 1994, I acted for Mr. Frank Ostrowski in his wrongful murder conviction investigation, gathering evidence that was instrumental and at the "forefront" in his release from prison. This investigation demonstrated other individuals had a motive, means and opportunity to commit the murder. During these investigations, I communicated with senior crown officials, police and legal counsel and in both cases, a review was subsequently launched by the Winnipeg Police.

Over the years, I have accumulated thousands of hours of surveillance time; saving major corporations and insurance firms millions of dollars in theft and fraud.

I audited the illegal and unauthorized reproduction of DJ sound recordings and tripled licensing from 2005 to 2007. I conducted a year-long undercover operation in an illegal music piracy operation resulting in the largest seizure of counterfeit product in 2008 by the RCMP in Canada.

I have extensive experience conducting due diligence on target companies on behalf of major capitol ventures.
